J. Steven Madura is a storyteller. He began his career in production at networks like NBCUniversal, Viceland, and Lifetime. Hundreds of productions and several Emmy nominations (and wins) later, Steven transitioned into the digital media space. There he worked with the largest creators in the world. After creating videos for brands like Kia, J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, Marriott, Anheuser-Busch, Sprint, Bumble, Ubisoft, Lego, Nintendo of America, and the NFL, his output has racked up views into the millions.
Beyond working with some of the most recognizable brands in the online space, Steven creates films. After producing multiple shorts for other filmmakers, he decided to write and direct his own. Raw Pieces had its worldwide premiere at the Big Apple Film Festival in 2019, and has gone on to be selected and screened at various festivals around the globe. He has recently finished a festival tour on his latest film, Infancy Edits, which will be debuting soon.
Finally, when not behind the camera, Steven steps out onto the stage. He has been performing independent comedy at some of the most renowned theaters in New York City for over a decade.
At the age of eighteen, he moved to New York to attend the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film & Television at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he graduated with honors.
