In August of 2024, I had the opportunity to pitch an idea to the bank UBS. They were looking for bold, visual ways to discuss their latest investment software, which presents a challenge. Mainly, you can’t point a camera at software.

Luckily, I was familiar with a concept called cymatics, or the visualization of invisible patterns occurring all around us. Fast forward a month and I’m in London, directing what was simultaneously a commercial, music video, and science experiment all rolled into one film. This was truly one of the most invigorating creative experiences I’ve had in my career. Not only was I able to see my vision through to completion, I also collaborated with an incredible crew of international artists and creative technologists. What we made is bold, dynamic, and spectacular.

The VO artist was pretty good too.
