In my career, I’ve gotten the opportunity to work on some special projects. When I started at Bloomberg Media Studios in 2023, I immediately identified the Designing Tomorrow project as one of those campaigns. I pulled together a team of the most talented people I could find to make a series of videos all around the globe that told stories of sustainability, responsibility in industrial manufacturing, and the impact that individuals can have on a collective whole.
In our premiere episode, we teamed our host, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, with Boyan Slat and The Ocean Cleanup to tell a story about how the most effective solutions are often simple.
I am incredibly proud of this series and the people who created such stellar work.

Designing Tomorrow Episode Two
With the second film in our Designing Tomorrow series, we paired our host, Nikolaj Coster Waldau, with the CEO of a company called Mycel. This story is about how there is a revolution happening in industrial manufacturing and biomaterials could be the key to a more sustainable future.
It also happens to be a film about how unbelieveably cool mushrooms can be.

Designing Tomorrow Episode Three
In the final film of our series, we traveled around the globe to the home of Kia, South Korea. There, our host, Mina Sue Choi, helped us tell a story about how we must protect naturally occuring solutions to combat climate change.
Think a mudflat is incapable of being beautiful? Wait until you see this (but make sure to bring the proper footwear).
